Read more about their meaning under alignment.

Hotbar

Any weapon, tool, active skill or spell can be put into a hotbar slot. And shields can be put in with a 1H weapon.

Beware that weapons also have their own weapon bar in the paperdoll so you do not need to put them in the hotbar.

Per default to trigger a slot, click its number on keyboard.

At the very bottom of the hotbar is a round slot that shows current weapon/tool.

Just above that is current skill/spell (only shows in action mode).

Switching hotbar

Per default it is alt-#. But weapon bar can also auto switch hotbars.

Keybindings beyond numbers

Right-click a hotbar slot, a small gear icon will appear to the left, wherein you can set an extra binding. And set other stuff.

Expanding

Near bottom of the hotbar is 2 arrow on the sides. They can be used to expand so more than 1 hotbar is visible.

The compass is not precise. The indicator line should be place a little right (a couple of pixels) of the direction you want to move in.

Weapon bar

File:Ui-weapon-bar.png

Weapon bar is smart.

As the name implies you can drag weapons (or tools) into it.

You can then hover the mouse over it afterwards, and a little gear icon appears which will lead to options for that weapon bar slot.

Auto equip

Enabling this will select (when the binding is activated) a weapon that matches the filters installed.

For example, drag a bow into a weapon slot, enable auto equip, set filters to only this type and then highest damage.

Then it will always give you the bow with the highest damage in your backpack when hitting the binding.

Binding

Which key or button to active this weapon or weapon type.

Auto hotbar switch

This can be enabled to switch to a weapon specific hotbar when that weapon is called upon. For example, open hotbar 3 when I equip my bow.

Equipment tier

This is used to determine if you are eligble for teleport to village using billboards.

The tier depends on quality of your gear, both in paperdoll and backpack.

Max is 6.

Armour penalties

See armour.

Protections

See damage types.

Gear slots

The time to equip or unequip a piece of gear depend on where you are.
